Team Fortress 2 or TF2 is the sequel to the game many of us played as much as Counter-Strike, Team Fortress Classic. It was one of the games that came out far before Steam was imagined. The first rumours of a TF2 surfaced more than 6 years ago, and if you happened to see any older era screenshots, you would understand why it was in development so long.

The gameplay of Team Fortress 2 is class-based. There are nine classes in total, each with their own abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. Each class has been updated to provide a unique playing experience for each character, and the abilities have been tuned for optimal gameplay. 1UP reports that additional classes may be added after the game is launched.

Unique shaders have been developed for use in the game that make the game cell-shaded and cartoonish. The proportions of the characters, weapons, and other models have all been modeled to suit this style as well creating a very fun environment.
